GREYTOWN WATER SHUTDOWN

MONDAY 23 JULY 2018

The water main supplying the following streets will be shut down for maintenance purposes from

9:00 am to 4:00 pm –

all of Waiohine Valley Road

all of Wallace Street

all of Woodside Road

Humphries Street (between Woodside Road and 48 Humphries Street).

The physical works will be undertaken at the Waiohine Valley Road treatment plant and at the rail corridor. Some properties may not experience a loss of water service at all, while others may only experience reduced flow and pressure. 

Higgins, the contractor, apologises for any inconvenience caused, and suggests you store water for use during this period, in the event that you are affected.

If the water is discoloured when it comes back on, please run the cold tap in the bath or laundry until it comes clear.
