Grazing Licence Available by Tender

A grazing licence for a term of one year (with potential for one right of renewal) is available for the Council’s cemetery extension paddock at Featherston. The property is situated on Western Lake Road opposite the current cemetery and has an area of approximately 2.9993 hectares. The property has water to the boundary, but the provision of any trough for providing water to stock will be the responsibility of the licensee. The standing grass will be removed before the commencement of the grazing licence. The property may be freely inspected by interested parties.

 

Note the following :

  1. A copy of the Form of Tender and the Conditions of Tender may be obtained from the South Wairarapa District Council offices (19 Kitchener St Martinborough) during normal business hours, or downloaded here:

  2. The grazing licence commences on the signing of the licence with the successful tenderer.
  3. The tenders close at 4pm on 25 October 2013.
  4. Tenders and are to be clearly marked “Tender for grazing licence – Featherston cemetery extension” and should be addressed to: The Chief Executive Officer, South Wairarapa District Council, PO Box 6, Martinborough.
