Road alerts and closures
Church Street, Greytown (between Main Street SH2 and East Street) – Emergency road closure on Wednesday 3 and Thursday 4 March – for the urgent removal of a tree, following wind damage.
State Highway 2, Featherston, between Wallace Street and Daniell Street: Southbound stop/go traffic controls in place for watermain installation, Monday to Friday during the day, 8am-4.30pm.

Moroa and Pharazyns roads in South Featherston will be closed with a detour route in place for powerline maintenance work from Monday 13 April for approximately one week. Find out more here.
Roads CLOSED in and around Martinborough Square: Saturday 7 March 2026 from 4am to 6.30pm for the 2026 Martinborough Fair.
No 1 Line in Featherston, full road CLOSED from 17 February to 27 March 2026 for road maintenance. It is anticipated that this work will take 13 days to complete. This is a full road closure for the duration of the work.
