Nominations for local body elections close 16 Aug 2019

South Wairarapa District Council, the Mayor and three ward community boards make decisions that impact the everyday lives of those living in our community. These are the people who make the decisions about things such as our local roads, drinking water, wastewater, parks, halls and swimming pools.

The community needs a range of quality candidates to stand for election, to give them choice on who they want to make these decisions. The Council needs elected members representing a range of ages, ethnicities and backgrounds.

If you would like to make a difference in our community, please stand for South Wairarapa District Council.

Nominations open on Friday 19 July and close at noon on Friday 16 August 2019.
